Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

Arrival in Arusha – Tanzania

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation at Kahawa House.

Day 2: in the heart of Tarangire

Game drive in Tarangire National Park

You’ll depart from Arusha, we proceed to Tarangire National Park for our game drive. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania located in Manyara region, this place is characterised by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for Tarangire river which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Tarangire retains an air of undiscovered Africa, as it is less visited than other northern Tanzania parks. It is a haven for birds. 550 bird species, the world’s largest selection found in one habitat, find their home in Tarangire. The stocking-thighed ostrich, the world’s largest bird, might greet you in its party dress of plumes!

Day 3
Conquering the Great Plain of Serengeti

We’ll take breakfast, as we’ve got a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us!

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area exploring a great range of various habitats such as swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world-famous Serengeti short grass plains. You will witness herds of wildebeest and zebras especially during a short timeframe from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where the majority of the wildebeest calf.

The sea of grass provides little cover and the young make easy prey for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. In the afternoon, we will set off for Serengeti National Park.

Day 4

Full day Game drive in Serengeti

The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are.

Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees), and cheetahs. your guide will know where to locate the animals and where to see them best.

Day 5

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

We will wake up early in the morning and after breakfast we will drive into the Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater has a diameter of about 20 kilometres and a 600-metre-high crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 larger mammals. In the centre of the crater is a Salt Lake. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. It is a unique area where animals and humans as the authentic Maasai and Hadza live together. From the edge of the crater, you look out over the impressive crater and its wonderful inhabitants. In the late afternoon we’ll drive to Ngorongoro Fram House Lodge where we arrive before dinner time.

Day 6: Mto wa Mbu, Arusha – Kilimanjaro Intl Airport (End of Safari)

After breakfast, we will drive mto wa mbu for a morning cultural tour and walking safari. We will have a sumptuous local lunch as we take in the stunning views hovering us. An optional mountain biking activity can be arranged at an added cost.

In the afternoon, we will head back to Arusha or to the airport for your flight back home.
