The suite rooms are a slightly larger version of the original, standard rooms but both types are spacious and airy and feature balconies and views. Being a mid-priced property means that the facilities are exactly what you would expect.
All of the large, individual rooms look out to the distant Rift Escarpment and Lake Manyara in the background. Since the introduction of the slightly larger suites, there are now two rows of rooms with the standard having partial views and the suites having the full view. There is a good feeling of space to the payout but it is worth noting that there is a bit of a walk to get between areas.
On daytime game drives, you’re likely to see giraffes, zebra, lions, wildebeest, buffalo, baboon, impala, hyenas, and plenty of birds. Other activities unique to the park are walking safaris with an armed guide, and a night-time game drive to see the nocturnal species going about their business. Children are welcome, although they have to be at least 12 years to join a walking safari. However, the Maasai guides are always on hand to teach kids various bushcraft skills.
