Day 1 : Welcome to Tanzania

Arusha

Our local guide will meet and pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to the hotel in our comfortable vehicles. In the way to the hotel, you may receive a brief information about our country and the safari program as well as dinner and overnight at the hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Discover the Tarangire National Park

Tarangire

Pick up from the hotel in the morning, ready to leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, The drive will take an estimated 3.5 hours. You’ll drive through the colorful city and suburbs of Arusha & enjoy local sights along the way. There will be an afternoon safari in Tarangire National Park before arriving at lodge in the early evening.

Day 3: Conquer the Majestic Plain of Serengeti

Serengeti

Located on the slopes of Oloongams Hills. Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is one of the first lodges to be built in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This will be your home for the next three nights with all your meals included.

Here, you’ll explore morning and night game drives and nature walks that will give you the chance to spot wildlife such as large prides of lions, elephants, and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles as well as eland. You and your family/friends will also enjoy hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains and horseback safari.

Day 4 -5: Full day exploring the Serengeti Grasslands

Serengeti

After your breakfast at the camp, we’ll drive to Seronera for a full day game drive at the central part of Serengeti still viewing the great migration. Late in the afternoon, we’ll drive back to the camp for your dinner and overnight.

The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the big five named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with the population of around 1,000. African Elephant.

Day 6: Big Five Safari in the Ngorongoro World Heritage Site

Ngorongoro Crater

We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and various species of birds. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point.

Day 7:  Transfer to Arusha, lunch, Departure

Arusha

After breakfast you will drive back to Arusha for lunch with a short stop on a traditional Maasai village on the way. After lunch you will visit Maasai market for shopping (if interested), then you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro/Arusha airport.
