Day 1 : Welcome to Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arusha

You’ll depart from Arusha, we proceed to Tarangire National Park for our game drive. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania located in Manyara region, this place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for Tarangire river which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Tarangire retains an air of undiscovered Africa, as it is less visited than other northern Tanzanian parks. It is a haven for birds. 550 bird species, the world’s largest selection found in one habitat, find their home in Tarangire. The stocking-thighed ostrich, the world’s largest bird, might greet you in its party dress of plumes!

You’ll then retire to your chosen Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest. Full board.

Day 2: Discover the Tarangire National Park

Serengeti National Park

Today we depart in the morning and drive through the small town of Karatu, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Southern Serengeti before reaching Serengeti National Park. The seemingly endless Serengeti Plains capture the essence of Africa. They are home to massive numbers of grazing animals and also various predators, and the interaction between the many species often provides some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the world.

Depending on wildlife movements and opportunities for sightings, the drive may continue through lunch and last all day

Enjoy stay at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge for 2 nights. Service: breakfast, lunch (or picnic), and dinner

Day 4 : Full day exploring the Serengeti Grasslands

Serengeti

After your breakfast at the camp, we’ll drive to Seronera for a full day game drive at the central part of Serengeti still viewing the great migration. Late in the afternoon, we’ll drive back to the camp for your dinner and overnight.

The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the big five named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with the population of around 1,000. African Elephant.
