About the Lodge

Kubu Kubu is the latest addition to the portfolio of properties of Tanganyika Wilderness Camps. This camp is strategically located to ensure that all areas of the Serengeti are within reach of our guests, including legendary locations like the famous Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River.

It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cozy and with the right amount of luxury. Guests can attend to the show of the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.

The rooms

Twenty-five luxury tents are built in authentic African design interspersed with contemporary elements to create opulent accommodation that accentuates traditional features without compromising on modern comforts.

Thatch roofs provide cover over the spacious en suite canvas tent rooms, each of which are fitted with a comfy double bed, bath, outdoor shower and Wi-Fi. Tents are set on raised wooden platforms, providing a private terrace that offers panoramic views of the sprawling Serengeti landscape – an ideal spot to view the awe-inspiring Great Migration.

The lodge offers game drives in the Serengeti National Park with their resident vehicles and guides. This would be on a shared basis with usually, a maximum of 6/7 people per vehicle. However because of the lodges’ position in Seronera, it is possible to arrive with your private vehicle and guide, especially if you are combining the lodge with other northern parks such as the Ngorongoro Crater.
